This book was born from the pleasure Patty experienced while having tea with her own grandmother. Grandma Mabel was a unique individual. Instead of a car, Mabel kept chickens in her garage, made her own soap, and grew vegetables on a small lot next to her home. She washed her clothes in the bathtub using a scrub board. She cooked, canned, and kept a kettle on the stove for tea. From her grandmother, Patty learned to sew, make angel food cake, and the secrets of cooking the best fried chicken.

Author
Patricia Robinson
Patricia (Patty) Robinson is a mother, grandmother, wife, and relationship coach. She lives in Victoria, Minnesota, with her husband of over fifty years. She is a graduate of Washburn University and Adler Graduate School. She holds a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She enjoys traveling, crafting, and hosting tea parties. She believes God brings the unexpected to our lives to teach us valuable lessons. Her greatest joy is spending time with her family, especially her four grandchildren.

Darcy Bell-Myers
Darcy Bell-Myers has loved to draw since she was a little girl. Now she is an illustrator, designer, and author who has created more than a hundred children's books that have won numerous prizes, including the San Diego Book Award, Parents' Choice Award, and Independent Publisher Book Award. She lives in Stillwater, Minnesota, with her husband and their children.
